The three-phase dry-type transformer is used in three-phase power systems and employs air or another gas for cooling or insulation instead of liquid. It functions like any other three-phase transformer, stepping up or down the voltage as required. The transformer has three sets of windings on both the primary and secondary sides. It is designed to transfer electrical energy between circuits in a three-phase AC (alternating current) system, providing stable and safe electricity to consumers. Compared with oil-filled transformers, it is typically more compact and lightweight, making it easier to install and transport.

Low loss

The product's no-load loss is 20% lower than that of the SC (B) 11 type, resulting in excellent energy savings, economical operation, and no maintenance requirements.

Low noise

The product's noise level is 10-15 dB lower than the professional standard JB/T10088-1999 for 6-220 kV transformers.

Low partial discharge

The resin mixture uses advanced foreign mixing methods and film-type vacuum deaerators to ensure even mixing and remove bubbles from the mixture. The product exhibits low partial discharge, which can be controlled at 5 pC. Both high-voltage and low-voltage coils are vacuum-pressure poured to achieve full resin encapsulation and immersion among layers and inter-turns. The poured material has a compact, solid structure with flame resistance, explosion protection, and environmental safety features.

Good material control

Glass fiber and other raw materials used in the winding coils have self-extinguishing properties and will not produce arcs in the event of a short circuit. The resin does not emit harmful gases at high temperatures.

Great mechanical strength

Resin with fillers reduces differences in thermal expansion coefficients, curing shrinkage rates, and internal stress, while increasing the hardness of the material in the poured area. Reinforcing materials are embedded in the epoxy resin seal coat, applied to both the inside and outside surfaces of the high-voltage and low-voltage coils. This creates a structure as compact as reinforced concrete, providing greater mechanical strength than pure epoxy resin. The structure can withstand electro-dynamic forces caused by sudden short circuits without damage.
