Winding methods of transformers

There are two main winding methods for oil-immersed three-phase distribution transformers: concentric and overlapping. In concentric winding, the low-voltage winding is placed close to the core column to ensure insulation between the winding and the core; while the overlapping winding adopts the opposite layout to reduce the insulation distance.
