This 100 KVA 11KV transformer was delivered to Guatemala in 2022. the rated power of the transformer is 100 KVA. It is a Step-down transformer 11KV to 0.38KV, the primary voltage is 11KV, the secondary is 0.38KV.

 

The transformer is equipped with ±2*2.5% no load tap changer at primary side. Our 100 KVA Distribution Transformer was designed with advanced technology and adopts high quality material and components which result in reliable quality and long operation time.

1.Oil immersed transformer, also known as oil filled transformer, is a transformer device that uses oil cooling to reduce the temperature of the transformer. Unlike dry transformers, the main body of an oil immersed transformer is installed in a welded steel oil tank filled with insulating oil. When an oil immersed transformer is in operation, the heat from the coil and iron core is first converted into insulating oil and then into cooling medium. According to the capacity, it can be divided into immersed Free cooling transformer and immersed forced air cooling transformer.

 

The oil immersed power transformer introduces new international technology, adopts a fully oil-filled sealed type, and has no oil storage tank. The transformer changes its oil body due to changes in temperature and load, and it is completely dependent on the elastic adjustment of the transformer tank. The transformer has low no-load loss, strong anti-lightning and short-circuit resistance. The energy saving effect is obvious.

 

2, The structure and working principle of oil immersed transformers

Oil immersed transformers are structurally similar to transformers It is one of the types of transformers classified according to the insulation form of the iron core. Therefore, it has recognizable features of oil immersed coils, which can reduce the heat map of the equipment inside.

The basic components of the oil immersed type are composed of magnetic cores, windings, and bushings. The magnetic core provides a path for magnetic flux. The winding creates a magnetic field consisting of a conductor coil wound around an iron core and insulated with a cardboard barrier and shielding layer. The thickness of the winding insulation layer increases with increasing voltage. The bushing connects the transformer winding to the substation.

Oil type transformers are used for power distribution or substations. Their core and coils are immersed in oil, which can cool and insulate. Oil circulates through the pipes in the coil and around the coil and iron core components through convection. The oil is cooled externally by the fuel tank at low rated values, and by an air-cooled radiator at high rated values.
