The 3000 kVA pad-mounted transformer features a rigid barrier between the H.V. (High Voltage) and L.V. (Low Voltage) sections. A pressure relief device is installed on the top of the transformer's front cabin. When the internal pressure of the transformer becomes too high or abnormal, this device automatically releases the pressure to protect the transformer.On the high-voltage side, the transformer is equipped with a 5-position tap changer, a four-position loadbreak switch, 6 loadbreak bushing inserts, 6 HV bushing wells, and 3 elbow arresters. There are no fuse protectors on this side.
