A compact substation transformer is a type of power transformer designed to be compact in size and easy to install in small spaces. It combines several components of an electrical distribution system, including a transformer, high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchboard, and other accessories, all housed in a single enclosure. Compact substations are often used in urban areas where space is limited or in remote areas where ease of installation is a primary concern. They are also employed in industries, commercial buildings, and residential areas where a reliable and continuous power supply is critical. Compact substations are generally available in various voltage and power ratings, with specific configurations varying depending on application requirements.

1. The highest ambient temperature should not exceed 45°C, and the lowest should not fall below -45°C.
2. The installation height should not exceed 1,000 meters. If special customized transformers and low-voltage components are used, the height can reach up to 4,000 meters.
3. The transformer should be placed in a location where the vertical tilt angle does not exceed 5° and where there is no severe vibration or impact.
4. The air humidity should not exceed 90% at 25°C.
5. The installation site must be free from dust, explosion hazards, and corrosion of metal and electrical components.
6. The outdoor wind speed shall not exceed 35 m/s.
7. If the above normal environmental conditions are exceeded, the customer can request a customized solution from our company.

The substation consists of three parts: a transformer room, a high-voltage room, and a low-voltage room.

• The high-voltage side is equipped with HXGN series RMUs (air-insulated, compressed air, vacuum, or SF6 types), built-in LBS, and built-in fuses (CBs can be equipped if required).
• The low-voltage side features a new type of ACB, which has high breaking capacity and excellent protection capabilities.
• The transformer room uses either oil-immersed or dry-type transformers.
• The enclosure material can include aluminum alloy plates, steel plates, composite plates, etc. The roof is double-layered to prevent heat radiation.
• The substation includes cooling and anti-condensation equipment.
