Working Principle of Three-phase Oil-immersed Power Transformer
The Three-Phase Oil-Immersion Transformer operates through electromagnetic induction:
Core Design: A fully skewed lapped core made of high-permeability silicon steel minimizes eddy current losses. The multi-step circular core ensures optimal magnetic field distribution and reduced noise.
Winding Configuration: High and low-voltage windings are concentrically arranged. The high-voltage winding includes adjustable taps linked to a tank-mounted tap changer for voltage adjustment (10kV/20kV) during power outage.
Cooling System:Oil Immersed Transformer uses insulating oil as a coolant, with corrugated passages dissipating heat via natural convection. The oil also prevents oxidation and enhances insulation.
Protection Features: Pressure relief valves release excessive pressure, while gas relays monitor oil flow and trigger alarms/tripping to safeguard the system.
