GNEE TRANSFORMER supplies 146 MVA Battery Energy Storage System Transformer.
GNEE designs BESS transformers with low impedance, high thermal endurance, and harmonic-robust winding construction, ensuring stable operation across all modes.
Battery Energy Storage System transformers are designed to interface Battery Energy Storage Systems with the medium voltage utility grid. These transformers operate in bidirectional mode, handling both charging and discharging cycles from the Power Conversion System (PCS), and must withstand frequent switching, fast transient harmonics, and nonlinear loads.
The 146 MVA transformer is specifically engineered for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) power stations. Designed with a double-split configuration, it mitigates electromagnetic interference and circulating currents, thereby reducing harmonics and enhancing power quality. With an IP56 protection rating, it is suitable for outdoor installation and can operate within a maximum 72.5 kV system.
